

Unidentifiable things in small plastic bags
_ I’ve made it through my first week in Chiang Mai. The jet lag has been unbelievable; I’ve been waking up at 2am every morning. So I get up and do some yoga and homework and then try and get a couple more hours sleep. Because I’ve started the teacher training course half way through I’ve got several extra classes to make up. In the first week I completed my Level 4 Thai Yoga Massage and was at school until 7.30 every night learning Foot Reflexology Massage. More than just a


2 kilos of porridge
_ When you go away for 2 months it's difficult to know what to pack. Fortunately I still found space in my suitcase for 8 bars of simple soap and 2 kilos of porridge.


Cadavers in the local hospital
_ I'm off to Chiang Mai, Thailand today for 2 months to finish off my Thai Yoga Massage teacher training. Among other things we will be going to massage senior citizens in a village outside the city, teaching massage to under privileged children, going on a Buddhist meditation retreat and studying cadavers in the local hospital!
